Job description
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsible for Operations Readiness (OR) planning and progress monitoring. The OR Planner assures that established procedures and best practices are applied as appropriate.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNT-ABILITIES
•Responsible to assist in the revision of the OR plan and schedule to meet the OR objectives.
•Adhering to the Project and Area Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
•Compiling (CPM) Critical Path Method, logic networks.
•Responsible for ensuring that all applicable standards procedures and systems for project planning and scheduling are followed,
•Responsible for the planning progress covering the OR progress and productivity reporting for work areas assigned,
•Assist in the integration of the OR team’s level 4/5 plans and schedules into the level 3 master schedule,
•Produce and distribute reports on a weekly / monthly basis for progress updating.
•Perform schedule assessment and reports that includes the trends and changes per assigned area.
•Also responsible for
o All aspects of the planning and scheduling for all designated areas. Consistent methods / procedures, compliance with the contract, schedule assurance and team work.
o Perform periodic project schedule risk analysis within areas assigned.
Job requirements
DIMENSIONS (Job Requirements – Skills Required & Education)
•University degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline or relevant experience.
•A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience including involvement in and exposure to all areas of Project Controls
•Ability to use Primavera Planning software and other applicable tools
