Description

Trinity Procurement GmbH Overview

Trinity Procurement GmbH (“Trinity”) was formed to manage the global procurement activities of SABMiller plc, one of the world’s largest brewers with brewing interests and sales and distribution agreements spanning six continents.

Located in Steinhausen in the Canton of Zug, Switzerland, Trinity creates value for its customers and investors through excellence in procurement across an extensive range of commodities and components, including brewing materials, packaging materials, capital equipment, marketing materials and other assets and business consumables and services.

Whilst the operation is centred in Zug and Trinity will provide the strategic leadership of the business, the organisation also comprises three regional teams dispersed across the international customer and supplier network. Forming part of the overall international matrix structure, these teams are located in Johannesburg (South Africa), Bogotá (Colombia) and Baar (Switzerland).  When fully established, the business is expected to employ in excess of 120 staff, representing a highly complex, multi-cultural workforce comprised, in many instances, of international leaders in their procurement field. Trinity will be characterised by its intellectual and analytical rigour, strategic focus backed up by executional excellence and relentless drive for value creation for its customers.

The creation of the required structures to support this global procurement organisation and to develop the optimal sourcing strategies is now well underway.  A critical component of this focuses on securing, retaining and developing the required talent referred to above and developing and embedding an appropriate employment infrastructure and culture to underpin the fulfilment of the company’s highly demanding goals.
