PWC Recruits Assistant Manager/Senior Consultant, Corporate Finance

Corporate Finance Team
The PwC Corporate Finance practice in Nigeria is looking to expand its execution team and is actively looking to recruit Managers and Consultants.

The Corporate Finance team has a very active deal pipeline and is executing mandates in the following areas:

• Equity capital raising
• Mergers & acquisitions
• Debt advisory
• Valuations
• Financial modeling
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the execution of Corporate Finance workstreams including but not limited to:
­- Transaction marketing materials (information memoranda, investor presentations, teasers, etc.)
­- Financial analysis (modeling, valuations, etc.)
­- Marketing of transactions to buyers / investors
­- Supervision of due diligence
­- Coordination with other PwC teams involved in transaction
• Assist in the origination effort
­- Drive the preparation of Corporate Finance marketing materials
­- Monitor industry / market trends and dynamics, established & upcoming players, potential deal opportunities etc
­- Prepare proposals and pitches
• Build and nurture client relationships / leverage personal & professional networks
• Manage and develop junior Analysts in the CF team
­- Assist in delivering training
­- Supervise financial analysis
Professional Background/Qualities
• Not less than 3 years relevant CF work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering or related field
• You must have a track record of advising on significant deals
• Strong analytical skills and financial modeling / valuation experience
• Experience in / connection to West Africa will be advantageous
• Fluency in the English language is required. Understanding of French and Portuguese is advantageous
• Must show ability to build strong relationships based on trust
•Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
