Onstream Recruits FPSO Marine Logistics Supervisor,Lagos-Nigeria

The Marine Logistics Supervisor’s essential scope of work is defined as follows:
 Ensure strict adherence for correct execution of clearing activities for CPY materials coming into and leaving project locations
 Provide expertise in the bulk CPY material inter-area order receipt and handling process to ensure shipping and documentation are completed in a timely and efficient manner so as not to delay loading or offloading of bulk marine vessels.
 Ensure no fines or penalties are incurred by CPY due to missing or inaccurate data for loaded and discharged marine vessels carrying CPY items based on contractual terms
 Responsible for immediate resolution of all issues related to orders, shipping documents (Certificates of Analysis, Bills of Lading, Survey Reports, Goods Issue, Customs and Trade Agreement documents), etc
 Provide information and technical assistance to CPY FPSO Hull team for planning and execution of all project transportation needs into and out of Nigerian waters.
 Primary interface with third party logistics providers (Freight Forwarders, Contract Terminals, Surveyors) to audit, investigate, and resolve issues
 Provide export expertise to businesses & JV Affiliates regarding marine shipments
 Communicate and coordinate marine order changes with internal and external stakeholders
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
 Project Management centre in Lagos with also a Company Team in SHI Korea.
 Detailed engineering of Topsides is taking place in Lagos.
 Construction activities partly in Nigeria and partly in Korea.
 Part of FPSO integration will be in Nigeria.
 Security issues and possible difficult relationships with local communities may arise at some worksites.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
 Support and enforce the project HSEQ Project objectives relating to marine logistics activities.
 Report on agreed basis to Marine Coordinator on marine logistics related work progress and challenges.
 Press for adherence to agreed standards for marine logistics activities.
Job Requirements
 College / University degree.
 1-3 years working experience, preferably in supply chain
 Thorough knowledge of import / export procedure
 Strong logistics background and clear knowledge of procurement cycle
 Knowledge of regulatory rule and local / international standards
 Ability to work as part of a team
 Language: Fluent English.
