Basic Purpose:
1. Preparing and implementing Marketing Communication strategy for Zain Nigeria to ensure the awareness
of the Zain brand and maintain significant brand footprint across the trade.
2. Monitoring all communication to ensure alignment with Zain values and clear communication of all value propositions to the trade.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
*
Preparing the Marketing communication strategy that reflects the corporate strategy and the commercial objectives.
*
Planning for the annual communication activities based on the above.
*
Visual identity and Strategic Brand development
*
Brand positioning
*
Tracking the competition’s advertising campaigns and proposing different strategic and tactical actions
*
Preparing and managing the advertising budget
*
Coordinating with the research function for testing and evaluating certain communication activities
*
Developing the media plans
*
Hiring, developing and managing direct reports through coaching and training
*
Managing all vendor relations
o
Agency Recruiting and management
*
Effectively communicating with subordinates, peers and senior management
Competencies & Qualifications:
Experience
*
7+ years experience in the same field, with at least 5 years of experience in the consumer market communication.
*
Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, etc.
