We support local organisations to manage low cost, sustainable projects and also provide policy support to secure the right of poor people to affordable water and sanitation services.

To effectively implement our country strategy, WaterAid Nigeria is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Office Manager

You will support the Head of People and Organisational Development to successfully deliver on the CP administrative and legal processes. This includes ensuring effective and efficient administrative operations within the Country Programme, ensuring value for money in procurements and engagement with service providers and in-house advice on legal matters. The position holder will also work with WaterAid in Nigeria lawyers to ensure that all legal requirements are met on timely basis and manage consultancy contracts.

JOB TITLE: FINANCE OFFICER
You will provide support in all financial and management accounting activities of WaterAid Nigeria Country Programme, ensure compliance with WaterAid financial policies & procedures for payments, receipts and cash management in day-to-day transactions and ensure completeness and accuracy of W’aterAid financial accounts. You will also support our partners in ensuring effective financial management processes in compliance with WaterAid standards.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting
- a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in similar capacity.
- Accounting experience in an international development organisation
- knowledge of SUN System will be an added advantage.

JOB TITLE: HEAD OF PROGRAMMES
You will bring strategic leadership towards achieving the objectives of WaterAid and ensure effective implementation of our programme delivery. You will balance technical expertise with ability to motivate and mentor your team and implementing partners. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will set the direction and professional standards of this international development agency.
The position is based in Abuja but will require regular travel to support our work in the states, LG As and over 40 local partner organizations and occasional travel outside the country.
Minimum Requirements 
- Masters Degree in Hydro-geological or Water Engineering (or other relevant field).
- Full membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
- You will also have a strong knowledge of experimental research and advocacy to support our influencing work.
- You will equally possess ability to network with major stakeholders in the water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) sector.
- a minimum work experience of 10 years, of which 5 must be in senior management position.

you will bring strategic leadership to the governance objectives of wateraid and ensure effective implementation of our strategic objective / new drive on advocacy. you will balance technical expertise with an ability to motivate and mentor your team of 5 members. as a member of the senior management team, you will set the direction and professional standards of this international development agency.

the position is based in abuja but will require regular travel to support our 6 state offices and forty local partner organisations, with occasional travel to uk and other countries in the west africa region.
