Goal of the Job:

To install client software on users’ machines, resolve any errors that occur and maintain the application servers. Responsible for non-complex systems, network within IT department. Other duties may include data processing, programming, resolving technical problems, determining equipment and software needs and coordinating information systems priorities.

Role Description:

Ensuring that application servers are up running all the time

Checking Application event viewer for any errors and take appropriate actions

Installation of client software on user’s machines

Trouble shooting application errors on client and server machines

Ensure smooth integration with other systems like CRM

Support of application databases

Administration of the recorder server and ensuring that application recordings are readily available

Ensure daily checks are done

Requirements for suitable candidates:

MinimumUniversitydegree in Computer Science or IT systems

0-18 months work experience

Knowledge of Windows 2003 server systems, Transact SQL statements, ISS and web publishing, ODBC database connection and configuration, HTML scripting and ASP.NET language and software installation and installation errors trouble shooting

Knowledge of database maintenance plans creation and scheduling
