Job Description :
PM shall be directs and coordinates manufacturing of a system, plant leader responsible for all activities related to the production and maintenance, direct coordinating and informing through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with production of all wood works products utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods, procedures and capabilities of machines and equipment. The Plant manager will oversee and direct the development of production budgets and cost control programs to maintain within permissible levels to make the products competitive in the market place, supervise and ensure that factory personnel are productive.
Qualifications Required
• At least 10 years of post academic professional experience of which at least 5 years in a senior management level in a wood work manufacturing organization using automated equipments and tools.
• Excellent knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, and waste, quality control, costs, and production processes associated with a sophisticated wood products manufacturer.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting procedures to be able to understand and oversee the department of budget, control product cost.
• Excellent knowledge of Policies and practices involved in personnel functions.
• Good knowledge of the operations and maintenance processes associated with all the production equipment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, creative thinking and problem solving abilities are a must.
• Should possess leadership, self confidence, motivation, decisiveness and sound business judgment qualities.
