QUALIFICATIONS
- A1 (a-e) candidates must possess post-graduate qualifications (fellowship) registerable with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria in appropriate specialties. Point of entry will depend on cognate experience.
- Candidate for A2 (a-d) must have passed their Part One fellowship examination.
- Candidates for A3 (a-g) must have primary in the area of interest either in Nigeria or West African College.
- For B (a) candidates must have a minimum qualification of Bsc.(Hons) in Nursing with at least 5 years post qualification experience. They should also possess a Midwifery qualification for the female. A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage. They must be registered Nurse Educators.
- Candidates for B (b) must have their RN/RM with at least five years post qualification experience. They should also have current nursing license. A Bsc (Hons) Nursing qualification shall be an added advantage.
- Candidates applying for B (c) must posses RN/RM with at least one year post qualification experience. Their license should also be up to date.
- For B (d) candidates must possess a minimum of four credits in SSCE/O’ level.
- B (e) with attract at least 2 credits in SSCE/O’level.
- C (a) must possess BMLS or Bsc (Medical Laboratory Science) in their area of specialization. They should have evidence of registration with the Council of Medical Laboratory Science of Nigeria with current license.
- All candidates for Medical Laboratory Technician C (b) must be registered with the Council of Medical Laboratory Science of Nigeria.
- Candidates for D (a) must possess a recognised degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or its equivalent from a reputable University in Nigeria or abroad. Candidate should also be a registered member of the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria.
- Candidate for D (b) should possess a certificate from the School of Health Technology and obtain the registration of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology for Technician cadre.
- Candidates for E (a) must possess Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent professional qualification should possess the membership certificate of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
- Candidates for F (a) must possess at least B.sc or its equivalent from a recognised institution. Candidates should also be members of the Dietetics Association of Nigeria with at least three years post qualification experience.
- G (a) attracts any of the following OND in Health Information Management and then licensed by Health Record Officer Registration Board of Nigeria. Knowledge of computer literacy shall be an added advantage.
- H (a) candidates in this category must possess at least SSCE or O’ level and a certificate in Mortuary training from a reputable Institution.
- I (a) Candidates must possess HND in Dental Technology from a recognised institution.
- J (a) Candidates in this category must possess a degree in Bio Medical Engineering or its equivalent from a reputable institution.
J (b) Candidates in this category must possess a minimum of OND in Bio-medical Engineering from a reputable institution.
