Summary

  • We’re recruiting two (2) interns to support the Brand and Communications team responsible for executing PR, Event Marketing, and Digital strategies to develop our markets in Lagos and Abuja.
  • The intern will work with senior members of the department to source for new engagement opportunities by identifying prospects, pitching our value proposition, maintaining relationships with partners, and gathering feedback to continually increase awareness and loyalty to our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential partners to prospect for new brand engagement opportunities
  • Gathering and documenting potential partnership requests and requirements in order to develop relevant pitch presentations and marketing collateral
  • Tracking partnership negotiations and agreements
  • Coordinating and communicating with internal teams to execute plans
  • Coordinating and managing a wide variety of vendors, including printers, photographers, audio/visual services, and event organizers
  • Reviewing and improving individual performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent – and we do mean EXCELLENT – writing skills
  • A hunger and drive for professional development in your area of interest
  • Comfortable presenting ideas to small audiences
  • Receptive to feedback and quick to adapt
  • Excellent team player <- with a great sense of humor!
  • Must be comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage priorities well
