Job Description
Key Objectives of the job
The candidate maintains and enhances relationships with existing top tier Treasury Services clients and promotes 100% client satisfaction by interacting with the client on current service, operating issues and opportunities. The incumbent defends existing revenue whilst identifying new efficiencies and cross sell opportunities through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market developments etc.
Act as a central point of contact for the client, ensuring all customer service related tasks are completed promptly with a high degree of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Act as prime contact for client portfolio in Sub-Saharan Africa region.
To ensure the prompt resolution of all customer queries relating to the Cash Management and Liquidity products.
Promote use of self service tools to reduce number of client enquiries.
To liaise with Sales, Product, Technology, Compliance, Risk and Operations partners regarding service issues.
To track query resolution and client communication via appropriate enquiry management tool and provide management with accurate statistical analysis.
Manage risk through close attention to client overdrafts and escalate those risk issues to appropriate parties as required.
Identification of and involvement in TS initiatives to improve both the Client and internal experience.
Presentation of Client Service capabilities to existing and new clients.
Use of data mining to understand and analyse clients’ payment activities, patterns of client enquiries and, opportunities for increasing clients’ straight-through rates and cross-sell opportunities.
Understand the clients in the Sub-Saharan Africa portfolio and their market, developing, maintaining and broadening the partnership and to predict their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Work to attain ‘Trusted Advisor’ status.
Identify opportunities for product development/enhancement.
Provide team support and cover as required.

Team player and able to develop and mobilize internal networks and resources.
Additional Requirements:  Some travel will be required.
