MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

Supervise, Review, Approve & Manage the Civil and Infrastructure Engineering Design and Construction of the Operations and Security Camp.

Technical authority for Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, i.e., Civil Design, Concrete Design, Structural Steel Design and Building design

Ensure that the Scope of services for Civil and Infrastructure Design and Construction is fulfilled in accordance with the CONTRACT, with COMPANY rules and general specifications and with applicable National & International codes and standards.

Ensure that the Civil and Infrastructure Engineering Design deliverables are delivered as per the schedule with acceptable quality for procurement, construction, pre-com/ com and operation activities

MAIN ACTIVITIES :

Review Contractor deliverables for Civil and Infrastructure Engineering

Review Vendor deliverables related to Civil and Infrastructure Engineering

Participate to technical meetings & Project meetings as and when required.

Attend site as and when required to review & approve Civil and Infrastructure Works

Review and answer to Design and Construction Contractor queries

Carry out necessary coordination with specialists of COMPANY Head-quarters and all relevant approving authorities

Follow up on Inspections and Tests carried out by Suppliers and Contractors for Civil and Infrastructure Scope

Provide Construction team with technical supports in reviewing Construction Engineering Deliverables and in field surveys and in field engineering coordination with Contractor and Subcontractors to ensure that Civil and Infrastructure activities in the field are done as per the technical requirements and with acceptable quality.

Provide Interface Engineer and Engineering Coordinator with technical support for the interface management with other departments .

Must be capable of checking & carrying out Structural Calculations.

Job requirements

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering

Chartered Engineer – Preferable

Minimum of 10 years working experience in Civil Engineering of Building and Civil / Structural Engineering Projects, i.e., General Civil, Concrete Design and Structural Steel Design as well as Infrastructure Engineering.

Proficient in the design of buried networks

Proficient in drainage design

Must be fluent in English, Strong communication and coordination skills, Team Worker, Self Motivated

Job requirements

Qualification: •Petroleum Industry Graduate to BSC level (or equivalent professional experience)

Ability to analyse difficult technical problems and propose solutions.

ACTIVITIES

1.To assist the OIM in identifying the activities which will be subject to a COMOPS or a SIMOPS organisation

2.To ensure that the Field Operations requirements are adequately reflected in the detailed dossiers of each of the COMOPS and SIMOPS prepared under the responsibility of the Packages

3.To prepare the SIMIOPS Dossiers in collaboration with other entities (Drilling, ECP)

4.To participate in the various Risk Assessments to support the COMOPS and SIMOPS activities and dossiers

FPSO experience a must. Experience in Marine activities.

Foreign language: English – fluent level. French a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Key responsibilities and deliverables of job:

· Reports to the Maintenance and Inspection Contract Coordinator.

· Assist to prepare, in coordination with the Contract section and the concerned technical entities (Maintenance or Inspection) the Maintenance and Inspection Contracts and other technical documents for further tendering. Coordinates with the authorities and the Contract section for their technical and commercial evaluation, and then develops the Contract documents until signature. · Prepares, at a lighter scale the same process for Service Orders (light contracts of value below 250 KUSD).

· This responsibility covers:

I About 8-10 General Maintenance and Inspection Services Contracts

I Up to 10 Frame agreements for various ad-hoc Maintenance and Inspection Services Contracts

I Up to 5-8 Specific Maintenance or Inspection Contracts issued with single source services providers (OEM- Original Equipment Manufacturers)

I Up to about 100 short term Service Orders per year

I Global Contracts and Service Orders amounting around 30MUSD per year.

· Ensure adequate Contracting strategy is implemented which shall include as a minimum: business requirement, HSE risk level,
Market structure and data, cost structure and remuneration, risks, opportunities and risk sharing, level of supervision, etc.

· Initiate and control regular audits on the implementation of the Maintenance & Inspection contracts, check compliance to the contract terms and conditions.

· Represent the M&I group for any contract related issues to external entities, partners, authorities (DPR, NCD, NAPIMS, etc.).

· Liaise with relevant departments, partners and government authorities to obtain agreements for timely placement of contracts.

· Coordinate these actions with concerned staff from both onshore and offshore sites.

· Perform any other tasks as assigned to him by his hierarchy May be acting M&I Contract Coordinator position from time to time during his absences.

Job requirements
· Minimum level of BSC or equivalent in Engineering

· Minimum 5 years experience in contract drafting, contract works/practices, technical contract analysis and management, and in technico-commercial management position

· Knowledge of interpreting, monitoring, measuring and evaluating contractual obligation and clauses
