Job description

Directly responsible for the Project Management System. Indirectly responsible for the effectiveness of the management systems of the main EPC Contractors. involving defining requirements, pre-award evaluation and subsequent assessment supporting the Contract
representatives. This also applies to sub-contractors and vendors. Functionally responsible for the QA/QC team of 20 and related Inspections Services Contracts. Ensure that all project activities are conducted in manner compliant with Group rules and project
requirements. Manage and coordinate all facets of the Project Quality Assurance Management.
Monitoring the inspection, some of this equipment being very critical as to their quality and state of the art. Define the Project Quality Policy and establish the Project Quality Plan. Development and maintain the Company Project Management System (PMS). Implement an effective PMS rollout/induction process to promote knowledge/familiarization. Review and Audit the PMS and recommend to Senior Management opportunities for improvement. Establish Tender/Contract Quality Management System documentation exhibits. Conduct Assessments of potential vendors and subcontractors and report to management on their suitability. Post Contract award Review and approval of Contractors Quality arrangements and those of the Key vendors and subcontractors. Develops and implements audit monitoring programme covering main Contractors, key vendors and subcontractors. Maintains audit report tracking database and issues reports on a regular basis. Analysis of non-conformance statistics and audit reports, including trend analysis. Identify areas of concern and recommend preventive actions. Produces weekly/monthly reports on quality trend indicators and statistics. Advises Company EPC Managers and their staff on all aspects of quality management. Functional management of the Company EPC quality team. Responsible to implement the full extent of the QA System. To ensure the contractors works to the approved QMS. Writes the Project QA Manual and procedures. Manages Company QC Site Inspection resources. Comment and approve Contractors QA / QC documents including but not limited to QA Plan, QA Manual,
Inspection & Test Plans, Audit Reports and the like. Undertake site QA/QC audits at regular periods, and assist contractors in closing out any findings for the benefit of project. Liaises closely with contractors QA Manager to assure contractors and contractor Suppliers QA/QC. Requirements are in line with Company conditions of Contract and good international practices. Conducts internal and external audits as deemed necessary. Distributes Project QA Procedures and ensures all inspectors are in receipt of latest revisions. Manages and Updates Company QA System. Provides weekly report to Project Manager. Attends all Project meetings (Kick Off, and Weekly / Monthly Progress Meetings). Enhance Quality Management visibility.

Job requirements

Ideally a Chartered Engineer, who must be able to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization including with senior management of Contractors and Suppliers.
Requires excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 and a Lead Auditor qualification.
A minimum of 10 years oil and gas experience including both major projects and operations activity.
