SDDirect is seeking to fill two positions in the DFID-funded Education Support Sector Programme in Nigeria.

The second is the Social Development and Gender Specialist role, working at both federal and state levels as well as directly with state-based specialists to identify issues and develop solutions to strengthen access and equity in education in Nigeria. The position will run for 18 months initially and is best suited to being based in Abuja. Regular inputs from Abuja lasting two to three months each may also be considered. This opportunity will suit someone with at least five years’ field experience specifically gained from working on gender and inclusion issues in education.

Social Development Direct is a leading international provider of social development consultancy and research services.

Social Development and Gender positions in Nigeria
SDDirect is seeking to fill
two positions in the DFID-funded Education Support Sector Programme in
Nigeria.

The first is the Lead Specialist Social Development role, providing a strategic overview of the access and equity aspects of the programme and overseeing a number of consultancy inputs at federal and state levels. The position will require regular visits to Nigeria (a minimum of three to four per annum) of at least 18 days per visit and will run for 18 months initially. This opportunity will suit someone with at least 10 years’ field experience. Nigerian experience desirable.
