ROLE
Provide timely LNG Shipping and commercial expertise to the Head of Shipping, Head of Short Term Sales and negotiation teams during market development, negotiations and optimization efforts. Review and negotiate Short Term LNG vessel time charters. Advise on all shipping issues including transportation economics, vessel availability and potential synergies between JV’s and customers. Participate as needed in any JV LNG ship acquisition process for both new and use vessels.
REQUIREMENTS
# Review analysis of LNG shipping economics to support critical decision making efforts for LNG sales initiatives
# Negotiate as directed by the Head of Shipping Short Term LNG Time Charter Parties on behalf of RasGas
# Identify opportunities to utilize RasGas and other JV controlled shipping for short term marketing
# Ensure negotiating team maintains conformity and timely execution within shipping TOR’s
# Communicates with Managers to identify areas of Best Practice and improvement
# Demonstrates leadership in areas of safety, health & environment and process & controls
# Provides guidance to negotiation team managers on key shipping terms & arrangements
