Corporate Development Manager (Fundraising Manager)
Job Introduction
This role sits in the fundraising team of BBC Media Action – the international charity of the BBC that uses media and communications to tackle poverty and contribute to long-term change in developing countries.
This role will focus on managing a portfolio of existing partners whilst identifying and securing new sources of corporate fundraising income and Gift in Kind. With a new team and strategy recently in place, this is a really exciting time to join the organisation.  We are looking for someone who enjoys developing new partnerships as well as growing and retaining those we already have.  If you have an interest in international development then this is a great opportunity to develop your career.
Role Responsibility
To work with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to drive income growth through both new and existing partnerships
To develop a pipeline of new cash and Gift in Kind donors
To manage a portfolio of existing partners, ensuring growth and renewal
To support the Head of Corporate Partnerships administratively including contract management and honouring partnership agreements
To build and maintain effective relationships with a range of contacts in corporate partners, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting their expectations and keeping them informed on progress and relevant developments at BBC Media Action
Are you the right candidate?
Demonstrable experience working in a fundraising environment and a track record of securing  new income
A track record of growing and renewing  funding from corporate prospectsStrong interpersonal, relationship building and presentational skills with an ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences
Financial skills including the ability to construct and use spreadsheets to monitor a budget.
Proven ability to work as both a team member and in an independent capacity
A good awareness of digital and social media.
A team player with the ability to collaborate successfully across organisational boundaries.
Desirable
Experience of working in the international development sector.
