Our client, a Facilities Management company, having its operations in the remote sites both on Offshore and Onshore, is looking for an experienced Central Store Manager for one of our largest projects in Gamba.
As the main link between the Project Management team and Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, main responsibilities will include:
Manage the warehouse activity including ordering, storing and distribution for food and technical equipment
Coordinate closely with the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager based in Libreville for procurement and logistics of the products
Supervise all internal and external deliveries on the first in first out basis.
Manage the turnover of the stock
Control and manage the Inventory
Manage a team of 10 local employees
Train and develop your warehouse team into Company systems
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management system
Qualification/Experience Required:
Degree or Diploma in Warehousing/Stock Management, Supply chain management or logistics
A minimum of 5 years experience preferably in the catering industry, ideally gained in Africa managing a large Store or Warehouse.
Excellent cost control management and low-cost procurement background.
Ability to train, lead and develop the central store teams to achieve company goals and objectives for customer satisfaction, cost, quality and delivery
Excellent team management, administration and communication skills
Rigorous, perseverant, resourceful, and hands-on
Client focused based on integrity and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently in stressful and hard working conditions
Good computer skills and knowledge of GALAXY is a plus
Conversant in French (Read and Write)
Willing to work in expatriation in Gabon on single status (3 months /1 month rotation)
