Proshare Nigeria Ltd Jobs: Training Officer (Lagos)

OBJECTIVE

    *     Position the Proshare Training Group as a solution driven, responsive knowledge and skill acquisition
platform based on the relevance of its training programs;
    *      Create a direct link between the training unit and the overall marketing goals of the firm

TRAINING PROGRAMMES

    *      Creation, development and packaging of training proposals for marketing;
    *      Initiation, implementation to the execution stage of delivering a training programme;
    *      Marketing of Corporate and Public training, both online and offline;
    *      Client Relationship Management;
    *      Development of relevant Town Hall meeting topics;
    *      Develop special training programs to meet up market demands;
    *     Plan, develop and implement strategy for staff training anddevelopment, establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuringnecessary aspects of staff training and development;

MARKETING SUPPORT/TRAINING CALENDAR

    *      Review 2009 Training Calendar and develop 2010 Training Calendar;
    *      Coordination of online marketing and tele-marketing for public training programs;
    *      Marketing for sponsorships to work with individuals and corporate bodies on investment related issues;
    *     Development of the training faculty and design corporate and publictraining courses and programmes for the year necessary to meet trainingneeds of the capital market for corporate firms and individuals;

NEWS GENERATION/SUPPORT:

    *      Working relationship with the News & Investigations/IR officer to generate news stories/articles for the web;
    *      Generation of stories for the training group page online.

FACILITATOR MANAGEMENT:

    *     Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies and partners, agencies and providers necessary to deliver required training to appropriate standards;
    *      Relationship management with existing partners, internal and external facilitators;

DATABASE MANAGEMENT:

    *      Daily updating of the training database both online and offline;
    *      Management of the training database;
    *      Develop strategy for growing the database.

ONLINE TRAINING PLATFORM MANAGEMENT:

    *      Provide content for the online training platform;
    *      Management relationship and liaison with the IT unit to develop tools for the training platform;
    *      Review of online training slides;
    *      Updating/uploading of in-house training slides and 3rd party training slides.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
    *      Manage the training unit relationship with 3rd party;
    *     Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understandall necessary aspects and needs of staff training and development, andto ensure they are fully informed of staff training and developmentobjectives, purposes and achievements;

Required Skills:

    *      Ability to handle, organise and coordinate training programs
    *      A Master degree would be an added  advantage
    *  
           Required Experience:

      – A graduate with a minimum of 2years of work experience- Experienced in public relations, media and relationship management
