JOB PURPOSE |
- To take responsibility of the day-to-day running of the office. Deliver a range of human resource support services and administrative assistance to the Head, HR.
|
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES |
- Provide advice and assistance to staff on AWA human resource policies, procedures and Labour legislation of Ghana.
- Maintain all holiday, sickness and leave as well as attendance records, ensuring that the relevant forms are completed and signed. All original documents to be kept in each personnel’s file, while keeping complete confidentiality of the information at all times.
- Support the Head of HR in recruitment and induction activities in line with AWA standard practices.
- Be in charge of uniform issue and re-issue. Ensure uniforms are issued and re-issued
in line with the policy and agreed time lines.
- Ensure all AWA assets are properly documented for audit purposes.
- Be responsible for the purchase of stationery for the entire company and monitor stock
- Take responsibility of local management of the staff medical insurance scheme in consultation with the Head of HR.
- Co-ordinate the activities of the driver who drives the admin vehicle
- Co-ordinate and arrange all staff travel both duty and interline by ensuring travel policies are followed and records are kept of all transactions regarding hotel and transport arrangements.
- Organise and monitor departmental projects e.g. Workshops, meetings and provide briefing materials and related logistics as well as arrange the venue for the meeting.

- Evidence of being a team player and able to work in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision
- Proactive with ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task
- Detail and results oriented
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
- Administrative qualifications.
- Good negotiator
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint & MS Outlook.
- Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures is a plus.
- Revenue and cost conscious
- Knowledge of Ghana labour law is a plus.

WORK EXPERIENCE |
- 1st degree in Human Resource or Social Sciences from a recognised University
- Min of 2 years’ experience in relevant field
|
