Facilities Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
• Project management and supervising and coordinating work of contractors
• Calculating and comparing costs for required goods and services to achieve maximum value for money
• Directing, coordinating and planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning and waste disposal
• Advising on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Managing technical and logistical resources for all operations related activities
• Maintaining a culture of operating excellence with the highest priority on the health and safety, environmental, regulatory compliance and employee engagement
• Managing client relationship activities

Requirements

• A degree/HND in Business Management or related field
• A minimum of second class lower degree/equivalent
• Must be resident in Lagos
• A minimum of 2 years cognate working experience

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous activities
• Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to operations and logistics problems in order to provide timely solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skill
