The U.S. Mission in Quito, Ecuador is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of CONSULAR ASSOCIATE in the CONSULAR SECTION.

POSITION: CONSULAR ASSOCIATE

Full-performance level: FP 06

Secret Security clearance

WORK HOURS: Full time 40 hours/week

SALARY: EFMs

Full-Performance: FP-06: US$48,135 p.a. (starting salary)

Developmental level: FP-07: US$43,031 p.a. (starting salary)

(one year based on qualifications)

*Final grade/step for EFMs will be determined by Washington.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

Incumbent will serve as a Consular Associate in the Quito Consular Section. Responsibilities will include work in the Nonimmigrant Visa Section, American Citizen Services, Fraud Prevention, and Correspondence Unit.
