OPPORTUNITY FOR EUROPEAN GRADUATES – ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER (M/F) – NAMIBIA (10016504)

Job description
The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director of our Total subsidiary in Namibia and her/his duties will include the following, concerning a pool of service stations:

- Design engineering blue prints for Total Namibia engineering works

- Ensure that installations and operations comply with the revised engineering standards and health, safety, environment and quality standards.

- Inspect compliance in all Total service stations, and make the necessary recommendation, including costing for proposed upgrades where required

- Review the need for installations for commercial sites, and that existing ones are compliant by the end of 2012

- Manage the overall compliance program for Total Namibia as per the group norms and standards

- Assist with skills gap identification and provide on the job training to staff where required.

- Work with Total South Africa engineers to ensure full alignment and compliance

- Undertake such projects and tasks that may be assigned by the Managing Director from time to time

VIE Positions are available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. More information regarding the VIE programme (including salary rates) can be found on www.civiweb.com.


Required skills
Education
- Engineer school, mechanical engineering qualification

- Financial background would be a plus

- Fluent English

- Excel, Powerpoint, SAP
Experience
- Relevant internships

- Previous experience in fuel industry is a plus
