Job Description:Oracle BI Project Manager to provide on-site project management and implementation support functions for Oracle BIEE, BI Applications, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Data Integrator, industry analytics such as PeopleSoft EPM, and related BI technologies for data warehouse projects. This role will provide both an on-site and remote project management role to projects that involve the Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) suite of products. The functions of this role include discovery and assessment, planning, advisement and recommendation, non-technical tasks related to solution overview, fit gap exercises, upgrade consultation, and management of complete project plans for multiple assignments. The Oracle BI Project Manager will guide our clients through completing all tasks and deliverables associated with an Oracle BI/DW implement.
Job Function:
- Overall planning, budgeting, resource allocation, design, development, project management for enterprise data warehouse program and specific data warehousing projects
- Participate in data warehouse assessment
- Oversee and measure implementation of business requirements and technical specifications conforming to information, data, technical and product architectures
- Managing production Oracle BI 10g including installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Developing requirements for BI Reports and Dashboards
- Rollout and development of dashboards and reports
- Building up of a data warehouse including data source definitions
- Work with end users in troubleshooting issues with BI Reports and Dashboards
- Loading / unloading large data sets using various methods and tools
- Manage project team(s) including data integration and business intelligence teams
- Work closely with business sponsors, executives, business users, subject matter experts (SMEs) and IT personnel
- Design, develop, and test reports using BI and reporting tools
- Use SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehouse toolkits to develop ETL, Create test procedures and test cases
- Interact with ERP, Web development, and Engineering teams to understand the source data
- Work with internal users to enhance performance and ensure data of ETL and reports.
- Architect data warehouse structures for 24/7 availability
