Job description
Our current expansion has opened up a number of VIE positions for junior reservoir engineers in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

As the successful candidate, you will report directly to the Head of the Reservoirs Department at one of our subsidiaries dealing with pre-production underground petroleum reserves, and contribute to the full range of associated missions. Duties, in other words, will include the following.

- Monitoring production development and reservoir assessment (via digital models).
- Running weekly and monthly production analyses and reporting.
- Defining reservoir pressure logs.
- Assessing drainage areas and productivity in existing wells.
- Profiling production fields.
- Updating and improving existing models.

VIE positions are available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. More information regarding the VIE program can be found on www.civiweb.com.

Required skills
Education
A 5-year or Masters degree in science (from a broad-based or specialised engineering school or university).
Specialisation in fluid mechanics and digital modelling would be a substantial advantage.
Fluent English (mandatory).
Computer literacy.
Conversance with Visual Basic would be an advantage.
