Accountable for providing appropriate administrative support to the VP of Sustainable Development (“SD”) and the Sustainable Development Group.

ACTIVITIES

In addition to general office duties, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

Seeking a Project Quality Manager to work in Nigeria for a major oil & gas company on a long term contractual basis.

Job Description:

Through application of Company standard Quality processes and tools; develop, maintain, and lead the execution of the Project Quality Management Plan for assigned project, and manage he development and maintenance of any supporting plans, procedures, forms, etc.

Responsible for facilitating the development and effective implementation of the Project Quality Management System by the project team, contractors, and suppliers.

Manage project service and product verification and inspection of the project deliverables consistent with critically assessments, and contractual and regulatory obligations.

Manage project quality support functions including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, management of change, audits, continuous improvement, and project quality reporting and review.

Lead effort for staffing Project Quality personnel

Provides guidance to Project Management on quality related issues

Provide managerial direction and guidance to the Sub-Project Quality Managers, Project Quality Engineers, Site Quality personnel, Inspection Coordinators, etc

May coordinate equipment failure investigations/ Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and conduct Corrective Action verification as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

Minimum10 years of direct experience in Quality Management Systems activity of which 5 years must be in managing quality systems relating to the contractor’s scope of work e.g. oil, gas and/or petrochemical projects.

Demonstrated knowledge of ISO10005 and ISO 10006 and training in ISO 9001: Quality management systems international standards or equivalent is preferred.

Able to read, interpret and communicate (both written and verbally) in English
