PURPOSE
· The processing officer (PO) is fully responsible for the mixed products treatment with the required parameters and to the required ISO22000 standard.
· The (PO) is required to uphold the hygienic and standard operating procedures (SOP) with the processing equipment and environment.
· The (PO) as safety procedures must ensure to documents all the approved processing information as required in ISO22000 food safety instructions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
(IPE Factors: Impact & Innovation)
· Ensuring the various product brands/Lines are processed within the target time.
· Ensuring total compliance to standard operating procedures/ISO22000 Standard, hygiene and safety rules and other instructions.
· Ensuring processing is done in accordance with the Quality requirements and regulations.
· Ensuring COP and CIP procedures are conformed to according to ISO22000 Instruction.
· Ensure Quality results of the processed products are always within the range of quality set target.
· Ensuring Bacteriological results of cleaned equipment (Rinse Water) from Tanks and Lines are within the specification range.
· Prevent Products waste due to under/over processing spoilage.
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
(IPE Factor: Knowledge)
· The right candidate should possess HND/B.sc in food science/technology, biochemistry, food engineering or related discipline with minimum of 1-2 years working experience in a food manufacturing industry
· Possesses a high degree of assertiveness.
