•    Have a minimum of 5years post NYSC work experience, at least 3years of which should have been spent in a Records Management function in a reputable company.
•    Be able to solve and address Records Management issues, effectively use established electronic document management systems (EDMS) and learn new applications

The right candidate will be required to manage all aspects of HVAC preventive and breakdown maintenance while ensuring minimal unplanned main HVAC interruptions as well as lon-term integrity of plant equipment through optimal HVAC systems operations. The right candidate will be responsible for managing a contractor for the execution of HVAC engineering and maintenance activities with a large staff strength
The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
·         Oversee execution of all company’s HVAC preventive maintenance routines, breakdown repair and medium project work and ensure that relevant staff are aware of the comply with applicable company HSE requirements
·         Undertake detailed performance analysis, fault monitoring and repairs on all major HVAC equipments including Chillers, Compressors, VSDS cabins and integrated HVAC systems  in the Industrial and Residential Areas.
·         Act as the technical focal person for all HVAC installations and its electrical distribution systems as well as for the acceptance of all completed projects.
·         Ensure continuity pf operation of all HVAC distribution systems and the associated electrical controls of the HVAC plant while implementing all applicable safety regulations and standards.
·         Provide assistance for spare –part reviews for all HVAC items and prepare appriopriate stock proposals related to the HVAC installations in the  plant, Residential Area and Port- Harcourt support base.
·         Carry out reviews of the HVAC systems project documents and its related electrical aspects as parts of projects at the various stages and advice concerned departmanets.
The Person: The right candidate should
·         Possess a B.Sc/B.Eng in HVAC Engineering and Electromechanical Engineering with HVAC bias obtained at a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division).Possession of ASHRAE professional certificate is an added advantage.
·         Possess between 7-10 years post graduation work experience of which a minimum of 5years should have been spent performing similar function in a reputable organization

The Job:
The appointee will be required to ensure the successful operation of NLNG’s Server infrastructure through administration and maintenance to meet agreed service levels as well as satisfy the business requirements with particular focus on the user (NLNG Staff) needs.

Scope: Servers, UPS, Operating Systems, Active Directory, SAN, Back-Up, Email and Internet Services.

The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Undertake all work in accordance with required technical and quality standards, selecting and using appropriate methods and tools in order to achieve well-engineered product which exhibit the necessary attributes such as fitness for purpose, reliability and cost effectiveness.
• Document all work using appropriate standards, methods and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate.
• Prepare, or contribute to, project and quality plans taking account of the requirements for functionality versus the
constraints of time, cost and quality
• Give technical leadership to small teams. Planning, estimating, controlling and reporting on work performed accurately and effectively in order to achieve targets.
• Carry out full impact analysis of new software releases and recommends upgrade plans. Reviews upgrades and fixes available from system software suppliers and identifies those which merit action.
• Investigate potential and actual service problems and recommending solutions. Develop and use formal procedures to plan and test proposed solutions.
• Develop and use procedures for collection of critical information in the event of system failure.
• Analyse documentation, storage dumps and logs relating to system failures to identify the failing component. Isolates failures and recommends actions to circumvent problems and enable the restoration of services with minimum business impact.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain corrective code, installing and testing the code to ensure a permanent resolution.
• Ensure that operational documentation for relevant system products is fit for purpose and current. Provides advice and guidance to systems development and service delivery start on the correct and effective use of system software.
• Monitor system efficiency against published service level agreements. Monitors both resource usage and failure rates of installed systems and provides detailed feedback to management.
• Produce procedures such as the CM plan, defect/problem reporting procedures, change control procedures, etc, ensuring their compatibility with prescribed standards

The Person:

The right candidate should:

• Possess a Bachelors degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Engineering obtained at a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division)
• Possession of MCSE Certification 2003 and above is mandatory.
• Possession of CCNN/CCNP is an advantage.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in Server Administration and Networking
• Be between 28 to 35 years old.

Job Objective(s):
The appointee shall

Duties & Responsibilities:

Qualification and experience required:

• A member/student of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) will be an added advantage.

SHIP MANAGEMENT PROJECT ENGINEER @NLNG LTD(Lagos)

SHIP MANAGEMENT PROJECT ENGINEER (Ref: SDM/2009/001)

Location: Lagos

The Job

The appointee will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team engaged in major ship building projects for LNG and LPG carriers as well as offshore units such as FLNG and FLPG barges. He/she will alsobe required to provide expertise and advice on all aspects of ship construction operation as well as project management for projects in which the Shipping Division has an interest. In addition, he/she will take charge of certain aspects of the designed and construction under guidance from a senior engineer and will also act as assistant to a site manager during construction of new ships for NLNG/BGT.

The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Prepare and outline technical specifications as well as participation in the evaluation of bids, design development process, plan approval, visit shipyards during construction and commission, attend factory acceptanace tests and sea trials.

· Analyse and advice on vessel operating parameters to identify inefficient machinery, hull condition, bunker and lubricant consumption and take prompt action to limit further detrioration.

· Ensure that the design of new ships is in line with the requirements for safety operability and reliability as set in the policies of the division.

· Investigate and evaluate alternative systems, equipment, contractors and methods for effective use in place of obsolete, unreliable or less feeficient system/subjects on the customers’s vessels.

· Guide other departments in the Shipping Division concerned with the chartering of the vessels on technical aspects and provide technical advice and support.

· Assistant the Fleet Manager to coordinate and produce repair and refit specifications and liaise with Procurement Department to ensure that necessary materials are ordered and specialist contractors at the ready as well as reviewing and assisting the Engineer Superintendents to finalise yard tender analysis document.

· Assist the Fleet Managers to supervise contractors, ship’s staff and surveyors to ensure refit is conducted to satisfactory standard, cost and on time. Also, produce on completion of the refit, a review of achieved yard performance with regard to time, cost and quality tendered.

· Agree yard work list and invoice subject to finan approval, negotiate discount, prepare detailed report of the work carried out and recommend work to be done at future refits.

· Ensure and monitor the application of international, national and classification society rules and regulations which apply or are proposed for application to LNG carriers and determine their effects on ship designs and operations.

· Promote Health, safety and Environment and Quality Management policies of NLNG within company and to third parties involved with management of BGT vessels.

The person: The right candidate should:

· Have a Chief Marine Engineer Certificate of competency (Class1 combined) or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering

· Possess 5-7 years shipping operations’ experience within an integrated shipping/oil/gas company, of which 3 years’ should be as Chief Engineer on LNG/LPG carriers.

· Have shound knowledge of shipboard machinery and operating systems.

· Possess sound knowledge of shipping operations/management as well as strong financial management skills.

· Have good project preparation and organization and organization skills

· Be result oriented with good negotiation, supervisory, coaching and relationship management skills

· Have excellent communications skills

· Not be more than 43 yeras old.
