Project Coordinators Job Vacancies in Uganda

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the District Project Officers will be responsible for the coordination of all project related activities in their respective Districts.

Key responsibilities:


    * Ensure that the project is implemented and managed effectively, according to the proposal and donor regulations.
    * Coordinate all activities of Community Support Agents within the district in accordance with the approved work plan and budgets and report back to Regional Coordinator in a timely manner and in accordance with USAID guidelines.
    * Liaise with other partners involved in the project on a regular basis.
    * Conduct regular monitoring visits, provide technical assistance to the Community and Health Centre Based Agents and prepare financial and narrative reports in accordance with donor guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

    * Minimum Bachelor's Degree in either Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, or any other relevant field ; at least 2 years experience in HIV/AIDS US funded program implementation; and experience in working with local communities, participatory research and training methodologies; good writing and oral communication skills; computer literate; valid driving license for car and motor cycle.

Duty Stations: Bugiri, Iganga, Kaliro, Kamuli, Mayuge, and Namatumba.

Contract: 1 year (with a probation period of 3 months)
