Senior Manager (Research & Publication Department)
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director-General/CEO, the suitable candidate is expected to:
Develop and implement an approved work plan for the department
Develop policies and procedures for the department
Promote and ensure publication of high quality journals and newsletters
Oversee the establishment and effective functioning of the organization’s library
Provide research based information arid advice to facilitate personal and professional development of members
Develop benefits and business tools to support members
Key Skills, Attributes and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the position must be articulate, dynamic and creative with demonstrable and verifiable record of performance in research, publishing and consultancy services.
Qualification/Experience
The ideal candidate must be between the ages of 32 and 45 and
Possess minimum of a Masters degree in Economics or other Social Science discipline
Possession of PhD is an added advantage
Verifiable evidence of high performance record
Possess evidence of published articles
Be a proficient user of Microsoft word, power point and excel software packages
Have ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Have at least 10 years relevant experience, 4 of which must be at a management level
