Marie Stopes International (MSI) is a marketing focused, results oriented social business working in 43 countries worldwide, providing sustainable reproductive health/family planning services to 6 million clients each year. The Internal Auditor, Africa is responsible for carrying out independent appraisals of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which the organisation’s financial, physical and information resources are managed. The postholder will add value by acting as a facilitator in business risk management and carrying out value for money reviews whilst assisting the management and the trustees of the charity in the effective discharge of their responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have significant experience gained within internal or external audit, plus a formal professional qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, IIA). A demonstrable track record of using and implementing audit procedures, including planning, techniques, testing and sampling methods is essential to this role. This role will involve working from home and travelling internationally throughout Africa to our partner programmes for approximately 50% of the time.
