Executive Assistant - IT - Ghana

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will provide strategic and operational support to the President/CEO. S/he will prioritize the CEOs schedule beside other projects that s/he will take part in with other departments within the Company. The overall objective of the EA position is to anticipate the vision, goals and needs of the CEO and support his role with efficiency and effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide direct executive support to the President/CEO of the company
· Assist the CEO in strategy conceptualisation and formulation for the company
· Hosting of the CEO’s guests and strategic partners
· Manage the dissemination of strategic information from the CEO’s office to relevant parties
· Manage the day to day functions of the CEO’s office.
· Coordinate the Management team’s workflow and update on the CEO’s behalf thus having a firm grip of the internal workings of the organisation
· Handle confidential information
· Undertake project research and prepare proposals
· Schedule meetings, conference calls, speaking engagements
· Record and distribute executive meeting minutes; Track action items developed at meetings
· Arrange, manage and maintain the CEO's complex calendar
· Supervise the coordination of VIP receptions, accommodations and travel arrangements
· Run and create relevant reports for the CEO’s office
· Fulfil overlapping professional/personal requests, knowing that the overall contributions help bolster the CEO’s success.
· Assisting the CEO with drafting of communications and preparation of presentations

Educational requirements, work experience and required characteristics
· 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant to a high level executive
· Ability to convert high level ideas into articles and presentations
· BA degree in Business or allied fields
· MBA or relevant Master’s Degree
· Command over company management processes
· High respect for confidentiality
· Overall management and coordination skills
· Take initiative, embrace high expectations, and make proactive decisions.
· Enjoys giving structure to a busy entrepreneur's life.
· Strong organizational and oral/written communication skills
· Strong analytical skills, personal initiative, and the ability to work independently
· Experience working in multicultural environments is a plus
· Extensive experience in working with Microsoft applications is also necessary
· Excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills
· Keeps constant track of time and is flexible to unforeseen changes.
