Description : Company is a young, dynamic corporate and commercial law firm which was established in 2006. it aspires to become the undisputed leading provider of legal advisory services in Ghana within the next three years.
It currently seeks an experienced Lawyer to assume the above position and have overall responsibility for developing and managing a world class finance law practice with all the necessary systems, structure and support. Reporting to the Managing Partner, the position holder will:
- Lead the finance law department
- Lead in capturing and disseminating knowledge management relating to finance matters;
- Review and draft a wide range of agreements and other legal documentation for clients;
- Provide written advice and opinions on finance and security documents;
- Assist in business development
- Develop high profile international reputation as finance practice firm and
- Lead or assist in preparation for client seminars and workshops.
The preferred candidate will be a qualified Lawyer (admission to practice law in a commonwealth country would be ideal). A Masters degree and fluency in French are not required but will be an added advantage.
He/she must have at least six (6) years relevant experience with significant transactional experience in drafting and negotiating financing agreements/corporate finance transactions. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
