AJAYI CROWTHER UNIVERSITY, OYO is currently recruiting for the under-listed position:VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE POST BURSAR
1. THE JOB
The Bursar shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day financial administration and control of the financial affair of the University. The Bursar, as a Principal Officer of the University is expected to participate in the total life of the University which requires living in Oyo town.
2. QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must possess a good honours degree in Accounting from recognised University. In addition he must be a member of at least one of the underlisted professional bodies:
a. Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), or England and Wales, or Scotland, or Ireland
b. Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN)
c. Chartered Association of Certified Accountants
d. Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
e. Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA)
3. EXPERIENCE
The candidate must not be currently lower than the rank of the Deputy Bursar and must have at least 12 years post qualification cognate experience, seven of which must have been spent in a University.
4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
The Bursar shall hold office for five years in the first instance and may be appointed for a second and final term of five years. The remuneration and other conditions of service are as may be determined from time to time by the Governing council.
5. METHOD OF APPLICATION

xii) Professional Qualifications (with dates)
xiii) Working Experience: General and Specific Expereince (with dates)
xiv) Details of Administrative experience and Service to the community (with status and dates)
xv) Present employment, status, salary and employer
xvi) List of publications in details
xvii) Extra curricular activities
xviii) Names and addresses of 3 referees (two of whom must be a professional or an authority in relevant fields) who must be requested by the applicant to forward directly to the Registrar, confidential Reports on the applicant indicating the post desired.
