Account /Admin Officer

Account /Admin officer
A consulting firm (hartfordconsulting)based in Victoria island Lagos has a vacancy for an account /admin officer. The account /admin officer will perform administrative,
accounting and office support activities which may include among other things
taking telephone calls, corresponding with clients, maintaining the
organizational filing structure etc.
a good working experience in the use of various microsoft office tools is
required.

candidate must come from an accounting background.

responsibilities:
• to maintain ledgers, books and prepare checks.
• oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable record keeping.
• prepare a detailed spreadsheet of all monies received and deal with all
financial institution of deposits
• consult with the budget, finance and audit departments in all account matters
and also suggest budgeting strategies for expense.
• manage and supervise the office drivers and assistants effectively
• manage project accounts from time to time
• handle all logistics and procurement within the organization and any other
duty that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
candidate must have:
• a b.sc degree in accounts or relevant financial field.
• at least 2-3 years experience operating in the same capacity
• experience in project accounting
• good communication and writing skills
• hands on experience in people management.
