Main Job Function:
Knowledge of all Mechanical Integrity aspects for Gas Turbine Components especially for blades including last stage blades, rotors, casings and structures.
To contribute to the overall engineering strategy and manages complex issues within functional area of expertise.
To interpret design practices and provides guidance to the engineering team in how to implement it.
To ensure that component designs meet all requirements.
To consider a strategy in how handle risks related to Gas Turbine power failure.
To support and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing and services.
To integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and have considerable practical experience in power station/gas turbine engineering.
An awareness of the commercial aspect of a power generation business is also desirable
Experience of large combustion rotating plant, familiar with quality assurance, planning, finance, design and commissioning as applied to the projects.
Manage interfaces with technical professionals outside your own skill base.
A good team player with an imaginative, proactive approach with strong interpersonal skills will be required.
Language: fluent English (oral and written).
