profile

profile

• 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in oil production, preferably in petroleum, or reservoir engineering, including experience in reservoir surveillance, modeling and simulation
3. sub- surface engineers
profile
• at least a b.sc, b.eng or b.tech. degree with a minimum of second class upper in any of the following engineering disciplines: mechanical, chemical, civil, petroleum, electrical/electronics, industrial & production, subsea or materials and metallurgical
• 5 – 10 years of well workover and related operations experience with at least two (2) years working experience on offshore rig base wellwork activities as an advantage.
• individuals who can bring in a well rounded knowledge and exposure to completion is required for this position
• qualified candidates must be able to develop all phases of well workover projects; from well design and engineering to workover execution plans
• successful candidates possess good written and verbal communication skills, uncompromising integrity, zealous and quick to learn new expertise through training.
4. project engineers
the ideal candidate profile:
• candidates should possess a bachelors degree (b. sc/b. tech/b. eng.) with a minimum of second class upper (2.1) division in any of the following disciplines - mechanical, electrical or civil engineering
• 5 - 10 years of relevant working experience in oil production, management of engineering and construction contracts (preferably in facilities or project/petroleum engineering)
• must have demonstrated technical competence and leadership ability
5. construction engineers
ideal candidate profile
• candidates should possess a bachelors degree (b. sc./b. tech./b. eng.) with a minimum of second class upper (2.1) division in any of the following disciplines:
mechanical, electrical or civil engineering .
• 5-10 years of relevant working experience in management of construction projects (preferably in the oil & gas industry)
• must have demonstrated technical competence and leadership ability
6. safety and environmental engineers
profile:
• at least a b.sc, b.eng or b.tech. degree with a minimum of second class upper division (2.1) in any of the following engineering disciplines: mechanical, chemical, civil. petroleum, electrical/electronics, industrial & production, or materials & metallurgical, safety engineering and risk management
• 5-10 years relevant experience in oil and gas industry
7. drilling engineers
the ideal candidate profile:
• candidates should possess a bachelors degree (b. sc./b. tech./b. eng.) with a minimum of second class upper (2.1) division in any of the following
disciplines: mechanical, chemical or petroleum engineering
5 -10 years of drilling and related operations experience with at least two (2) years working in offshore drilling activities
ability to work in, and develop all phases of drilling; from well design and
engineering, to drilling and completion activities
in addition to the drilling experience, the position requires an individual who brings a well rounded knowledge and exposure to completion and workover
activities
good written and verbal communications skills, uncompromising integrity, be zealous and quick to learn new expertise through training
candidates must be willing to work on rotational basis and spend a large part of their career on offshore rigs
8. drilling & wellwork supervisors
ideal candidate profile:
• candidates should possess a minimum of bachelors degree (b.sc./b.tech./b.eng.) in engineering in any of the following engineering disciplines, mechanical, chemical or petroleum engineering
• 5 -10 years cognate operational experience in the field
• competency and skill knowledge in well control and blowout prevention theory and equipment.
must have valid iadc well control certificate
• knowledgeable in well work and drilling operations including workover/ completions rigs and slickline and electric wireline operations
• knowledgeable in the running of typical down hole equipment (tubing, packers, sand screens, fishing tools, coiled tubing, slickline/wireline tools etc.)
• proficiency in the use of microsoft office suite
• effective written and oral communication skills
• requires a team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a multi -discipline, multi-cultural environment
