Role Summary/Purpose

Drives all sales activities in a clearly defined geographical region, including reaching sales objectives and the development of future strategies under the supervision of the Area Sales Manager. Leads and manages dealers and also drives business directly.

Essential Responsibilities

is directly involved and responsible for his geographical region

  • plans and develops market penetration strategies for the region
    * develops new approaches to development of new markets
    * proactively analyses the market to identify business opportunities and to develop sales growth plan
    * identifies new projects, using analytic techniques: e.g. key account planning, competitive analysis, selling techniques and consumer research
    * highlights areas of further development and establishes plans to ensure the business meets its targets
    * proactively establishes sales forecasts and monitors performance vs plan
    * initiates joint actions with the Marketing team to develop appropriate product and merchandising support
    * manages the key-accounts and dealers to reach the budget. Works closely with key-account managers
    * lead the marketing activities to ensure customer satisfaction, sales and growth
    * provide guidance for pricing to reach the highest price setting possible

Qualifications/Requirements

Good technical education

  • Minimum 5 years experience of NDT and NDT applications
  • Proven sales record in NDT related sales highly desirable
    * Motivated, determined person with excellent communication and negotiation skills
    * English fluency
    * team player
    * ability to motivate and energize people, gain confidence
    * places high priority on customers' needs
    * ability to identify market trends and key decision makers
    * PC (Windows) literate
