The JOB: MAINTENANCE SUPPORT PLANNER- PEK/INT001

The Job: This is a 3rd Party Contract Staff Position



Job Objective(s):

The appointee shall be

• Responsible for transforming the mandated Preventive Maintenance activity recommendations and Maintenance Project work into logical step-by –step instruction including material and resources required to execute work that complies with SH&E, processes, procedure and business requirements.

• The Central Maintenance Planner for the Engineering Department.



Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Load proactive maintenance schedule with linked library plans into PACER Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Liaise with the PACER group to effect changes and give timely notifications from Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Equipment Integrity (EI) Process Owners when changes are made to the work scope, frequency, or data requirements.

• Assist in the preparation Maintenance/Shutdown Planning when requested.

• Create proactive maintenance plans as part of library plans built on standards manpower/duration estimates

• Participate in Operations Engineering Maintenance Inspection & Technology forum (OEMIT) reviews and solicit feedback on execution to improve maintenance plans.

• Prepare activity templates norm duration and resource allocation for all activity types and trend analyses for use on future jobs.

• Monitor and coordinate material availability to ensure material are stocked and procured for planned activities.

• Mentor new planners and prepare planning templates and procedure

• Prepare activity database, identifying required actions, originator, relevant equipment tag/ unique id, specific requirement such as scaffolding, painting etc, inspection requirement.

• Provide inputs for long-term planning and strategy issues, section workload forecasts and other issues as may arise.

• Prepare proactive maintenance Routine 90/360- day look-ahead schedules and assist in the preparation of maintenance/shutdown planning and scheduling when requested.

• Responsible for collating, integrating and presenting the engineering discipline plan the area/operation meeting.



Qualification and experience required:



• B.Sc/B.Eng or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and Computer Science obtained at a minimum of Second Class Lower Division/ Lower Credit.



• Must possess excellent Knowledge of Primavera Planning Tool.



• Have Three to Five (3-5) years experience in Planning Engineering for Maintenance and Shutdowns in a reputable organization.



• Able to interface and communicate effectively with others in a multi discipline and multi–racial project team.



• Must not be more than 45 years.
