Our Client is a leading Pan african logistic Group.

The group is looking for a COO for one its strategic Business Unit specialized in Passenger, Ramp and Cargo
Handling services. The services of the company are provided in multiple Internationals and nationals Airports.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the guidance of the Managing Director, the COO will be responsible for the planning, management, and profitability of the company.

The position is based in West Africa

The Operation Director will report to the Managing Director of the group
Responsabilités

Sales & Marketing:

    * Manage, and develop, the Companies’ contracts with the Airplane and logistic companies.
    * To devise and implement effective sales and pricing strategies.
    * To interact and engage with external parties in order to enhance the reputation of the Company and facilitate the growth of the business.
    * To gather and monitor information regarding customer satisfaction for continuous improvement of service performance.



Finance & Administration

    * To ensure the consistent timely delivery of fully accurate Financial & Management Reports, including Annual & Monthly Operating Budget & CAPEX Plan for the Company, Quarterly Latest Estimates, Monthly Financial Statements, Sales, Production & QA Compliance Reports, Weekly Report.

Operations

    * To be responsible for the effective management of the company operations in line with the strategic direction set by the Managing Director
    * To assume management responsibility for all services and activities of the company in the international Airports as well as local airports.
    * To ensure an IT/network optimization for the group.
    * To manage, plan and resources in order to meet global restructuration project of the company with respect to time, quality and costs.
    * To identify the necessary technical, operational, and commercial resources for the successful execution of operations and future projects.
    * To hire, coach/mentor, provides direction, and review performance of operations unit staff.
    * To manage all relations with corporate bodies as well as Unions.
    * To ensure technical, logistical, and operational support of all ongoing service contracts.
    * To be responsible for all regular operational reports to both customer and internal hierarchy


Qualification et experience

    * Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Business Administration or Economics from an accredited college or university.
    * Masters degree in Business Administration or Air Transport/Aeronautics/Airport is a plus.
    * Posses at least ten (10) years experience in one or more of the field of Engineering, Aeronautics, Business Administration or Economics including five (5) years in the senior management or administrative position.
    * Has knowledge and experience of the air transport sector.
    * Work experience in Africa is a plus.
    * Influence & Leadership skills are requested, especially to work in a very challenging environment.
    * Result oriented, cost minded, capable to handle pressure and to meet deadlines.
    * Excellent command of English.
