Business Unit: Zain Gabon Division: Finance

Basic Purpose:
To maximize all revenues earned by the business by preventing revenue losses/leakages
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Participate in corporate strategic planning process.
Co-ordinate the activities of the Revenue Assurance unit and provide leadership and motivation
Review daily monitoring of activities on all revenue impacting network elements
Review on all revenue streams to ensure completeness and integrity of revenues and reporting
Review CDR reconciliation from various data streams to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenues
Review the gathering of secondary data from switch, IN, BGW and call Data Warehouse for data reconciliations.
Implement of approved revenue assurance and fraud procedures
Review of subscribers subscription profile on the network to ensure integrity of billing
Review of Promotions/services offered by the company to prevent revenue leakages/loss
Validate traffic across billing platforms to prevent revenue loss/leakages
Monitor and appraise performance of direct reports based on set KPIs Monitor and appraise performance of direct reports based on set KPIs
Understand and advise on Government regulations, and GSM frauds standards
Develop fraud business case for new GSM initiatives for organization & stakeholders
Liaise with Senior Management, Legal Representatives and Law Enforcement Agencies on lawful interception and non disclosure
Promote fraud awareness across the company.
Carry out fraud incident investigation and resolution in conformance to documented policies
Develop periodic reports on forensic audit incidents, investigations and outcomes
Recommend additional tools and methods that could be deployed in combating breaches of company policies, processes and procedures.
Develop personal knowledge and awareness of industry detection methods, best practice and legal requirements
Contribute positively in the area of building controls in business processes and systems
Identify ways to improve processes and procedures where there have been breaches to minimize fraud.
Use personal initiative in developing and implementing new ideas.

Job Purpose::
Provide support to other functions in the company by handling all suppliers' financial related matters. And provide support to management in its decision making process through submission of the required reports and reconciliations.
Main Responsibilities::
Ensure prompt and accurate recording and updating of supplier accounts through liaising with other functions. (procurement, NW, MKT, etc)
Close all open/un-reconciled supplier accounts by conducting periodic reconciliations.
Maintain all original contracts and update contract summaries (Prepayments & Accruals) on a monthly basis, ensuring proper accounting in terms of value and timeliness.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Tariff/Services Configuration Support:
Develop and test new tariffs introduced by Marketing in order to meet the Commercial requirement and give a competitive advantage to the company.
Systems Administration
Provide functional administration of all supported systems and ensure that user requirements are met.
Billing Complaint resolution
Analyse the billing complaints to determine the source of the problem and recommend a solution. The solution is developed within the set standard procedures, ensuring the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of the solution.
Rejected calls analysis
Analyse the rejected calls in order to identify the source and ensure that all calls are rated and billed accurately and in a timely manner.
Research and Development
Research on new features that can be supported by the billing system and advise the Commercial department on the system capabilities.
System Synchronization
Ensure that the billing and customer care systems are synchronized with the core network (CS 3.0, HLR, AUC,AF, CMS).
Competencies & Qualifications:
Qualifications
University Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or Equivalent
Training in Project Management, Communication Skills and Customer Relationship Management is desirable, Oracle PL/SQL and performance tuning training.
Unix fundamentals and advanced shell and awk scripting.
2-5 years in a busy IT environment with hands-on experience in software development, systems administration and IT supporting services.

AIN1185 - Billing and VAS Team Leader

Basic Purpose:
To manage billing, IN(Intelligent Network) and Value Added Services and Application team which is responsible for the postpaid rating control, billing control, Roaming TAP Generation, prepaid charging system configuration and support, Interconnect control, interconnect dispute resolution and rejected calls management. Support VAS application and help in design, implementation and support of internal systems that support business service deployment. Respond to customer complaints resolution and support report generation from the billing system.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Achieve service availability standards:
Implement approved processes that help to improve on the rating control, billing control, rejected calls fixing and other processes that would improve the quality of billing.
Manage the analysis of the defect and interface with the billing systems support (supplier) to have the defect fixed within reasonable time.
Plan for routine maintenance of the IN and VAS systems and ensure that the maintenance plan is executed as planned to ensure services remain available.
Monitor and anticipate situations likely to result in service unavailability and initiate actions to mitigate these risks.
Provide technical expertise by analyzing dysfunctions and implementing non-normal network operations.
Cross departmental support:
Provide advice and technical support in relation to existing services.
Support the development/testing of new services, by working closely with Marketing, Customer Care and Revenue Assurance.
Support external audit processes.
Provide support to/work closely with the operations team.
Service/platform upgrade, configuration and implementation:
Implement of new services on the network, closely working with the switching engineers where necessary.
Implement solutions on the Network leading to performance improvement and corrections working closely with external where necessary.
Support/execute actions on the Network related to Prepaid and VAS related Operations in the technical department.
Support the IN/VAS team to execute charging and VAS configuration changes, testing, faulting when challenges are experienced.
Evaluate specifications from marketing and provide support to the IN/Billing and VAS engineers to implement the services.
People Management
Participate in the recruitment and development of the prepaid, billing and VAS team members.
Evaluate the training needs for the team and prepare the justification for the same.
Plan the leaves for the team to ensure smooth business operations.
