SENIOR QUALITY CONTROL & QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER REF: PE/2010/001
The Job:
The appointee will be required to co-ordinate the QA/QC activities to meet company objectives for Asset Information Management. He/ She will ensure that all QA/QC activities relating to Asset Information Management are delivered ‘with no defects to the NLNG Production Division.
The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Co-ordinate QNQC activities related to Asset Information Management for all Engineering disciplines
• Ensure that all QA/QC activities are executed in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the SAIM module of Gas-GAME, applicable Engineering standards and with first class skills and workmanship
• Develop and maintain for Asset Information Management the QA/QC Definitions, Policies, Strategies, Guidelines and Work Instructions
• Execute regular QNQC internal audits and audits of the Unit’s Engineering Service Contractor(s)
• Contribute to the development and implementation of QA/QC of the SAlM Module up to level 6 in the short term and to level 9 in the long term
• Implement contract strategies for Engineering Services Contract(s) in line with work volumes in QA/QC Management to cater for the elimination of backlog in document upgrades and “As Built” .within 2 years
The Person:
The right candidate should:
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering obtained at a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division)
• Possession of a Lead Quality Auditor Certification is an added advantage
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate work experience, at least 3 years of which should have been spent in a QNQC, Asset Information Management position in a reputable company
• Be thorough and accurate in his/her dealings as well as good problem solving skills
• Be a good communicator
• Not be more than 35 years old
