In our rapidly growing team we now have an exciting career opportunity for an Manager for Finance, Planning & Analysis. This position will be based in Vienna.
This position provides financial guidance and support to the WU International Bank and is reporting to the CFO of the Bank. The incumbent will be responsible for leading a team providing detailed Financial Analysis and Reporting for WU Bank, business analysis and decision support as well as, standard and ad-hoc analytical requests.
Key responsibilities will include:
* This individual will be responsible for the delivery of monthly/quarterly business performance reviews including detailed branch and country level operational reviews.
* The positions will provide analysis and reporting of revenue and expense after month-end close and prepare recommendations to optimize them.
* The role will include the preparation and analysis of the annual plan, updated forecasts and estimates for the current year profit for the whole bank from a local and WU view.
* Additionally this role is supporting the strategic planning and business development as well as special projects for WU International Bank.
* Furthermore, this position will become actively involved in the development, analysis and recommendation of potential new business activities: including development of business/financial cases, the impact of regulatory requirements and integration of financial activities.
* In addition, the incumbent will be an important communication interface between WU International Bank and the WU Finance organization. It will also act as an interface to SFdP Finance in regards to WUIB.
Qualifications

* Thorough understanding of Balance Sheet / P&L
* Financial Acumen / Seasoned Judgment
* Influencing and Negotiating skills
* Innovation (creative, out of the box thinking, creating new concepts)
* English (native level)
* Proficient in MS Office Applications and strong Systems experience - e.g. Hyperion//Essbase, G/L, Databases
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IAS
* Ability to prioritize and work independently
* Excellent ability to handle multiple priorities and manage projects with strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Tact and diplomacy as well as ability to understand foreign cultures
* Strong Business Partnering skills / Strong Matrix management skills
* Ability to work in a changing environment with multiple priorities
* Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment
* Flexibility in working hours and ability to travel occasionally
Desired experience/qualifications:
* University degree (Finance/Accounting) or sufficient work-related experience
* Experience in financial services/ retail banking or card environment is preferred
* Extensive operational and strategic forecasting experience
* Ability and desire to successfully matrix manage people and activities in the organization
* Experience working in a matrix organization is preferred
* German is beneficial but not required
