MDF Offshore installation Managers for Egypt
Maersk Drilling is seeking experienced Offshore Installation Managers for our offshore rigs in Egypt. Applicants will be hired on an international contract with Maersk Drilling and will be working on offshore Jack-Ups owned and operated by Egyptian Drilling Company.The OIM is responsible for managing all aspects of the offshore operation to ensure a safe and efficient utilization of the personnel and the facilities. Management is exercised in close consultation with the Barge Engineer, Rig Engineer, Senior Tool Pusher and the Client's Representative. The OIM is overall responsible for the safety of all personnel onboard and for safeguarding the integrity of the MODU and the environment. Responsible for establishing the Safety Organization comprising the Safety Groups and the Safety Committee and arranging nomination/election of Safety Representatives.
Other responsibilities include:
· Check that all rig personnel possess the necessary technical qualifications and experience to properly carry out the work assigned to them, from a professional as well as a safety point of view.
