Mife Construction provides a broad spectrum of engineering services which include the building of roads, bridges, and civil works on oil drilling locations. Mife Construction is a multi-disciplinary engineering
contractor with a number of heavy civil engineering projects throughout the country.



As a result of expansion in the activities of this company we now have an opening for a Technical/Financial Accountant; preferably the successful candidate must have worked in a construction or engineering company



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:



Review of resource inputs to each project and the completion certificates generated on monthly basis to ascertain effective production

Variance analysis of resource inputs and invoicing against budgeted amounts

Periodic reports on profit and loss per project to management

Review of internal control procedures in operation in the company and recommend changes where necessary

Reporting to Chief Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE



A Minimum of a second class lower division degree in Accounting or Business Management and (or) Civil Engineering. An MBA, ACCA or ICAN will be an added advantage.

Not less than 30 years of age

A Minimum of 4-6 years of cognate experience in construction or related industry.
