Project/Proposal Summary:
MSI is seeking an individual for a resident position in Francophone Africa on a USAID project as Administrative/Finance/Grants Manager.
Position Summary:
The individual will manage small grants program, and manage the financial and administrative aspects of the field office, reporting to the home office.
Responsibilities:
· Management of administrative and compliance aspects of grants program.
· Preparation of grant agreements, review and negotiation of budgets and other data requirements.
· Tracking of grant activities.
· Management of finance and administrative aspects of field office.
· Management of field bank account.
· Management of administrative aspects of field office.
· Monitoring of field office budget.
· Oversight of field procurement.
· Training on USAID and FAR regulations.
· Supervision of several administrative staff.
· Individual would report to Chief of Party and home office.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 4 years of experience in related area is required.
· Strong knowledge of grants administration under USAID projects.
· Fluency in French, both written and verbal
· Excellent EXCEL and WORD skills.
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Experience with USAID and FAR regulations required.
· Experience with USAID procurement and grants compliance is required.
· Strong management skills required.
· Other language requirements.
· Familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting system helpful.
